This was me (L.D. Hammond) in 1979. I was SO SHY!
I was studying photography at Ryerson and turned in as my portfolio photographs of the punk music scene.
My instructor didn't accept or understand the subject at all, and in defense, I told him what I then felt and still do,
that it was important as I was documenting HISTORY being made... Punk became my history too. Clothes and hair was the easy part- shaking that sweet, innocent look, INFINATELY HARDER!
